Walmart Sure Loves Their Numbers and Treat Their Staff Just Like One

I truly feel the Walton family should have a team of people or person go under cover and monitor how store managers not assistants but store managers and HR people treat their staff they have a possy only because thay are scared for their jobs too they( meaning their possy) get sucked in too, when evaluating other team members, I feel I must of been a real threat to the backroom manager and the HR so called people manager (joke) as they had no reason for letting me go, their answer it’s sll to do with the numbers,because when you see the likes of some they kept on well I guess HR and store managers don’t liked well groomed staff and intelligent ones that inferiates them to no end. All I wanted to do was work there not become a manager or assistant just work there. Another thing that really got their goat was I was very very well liked by other store managers and assistant mgrs, from other stores as well as my collegues that just burned rubber on their end, I must of posed a real threat, because while the coward HR lady was handing out pink slips in her right hand ahe was conducting interviews with her left hand Ha! alot of the people that worked there from head-office affilates to workers were shocked, dumb founded, and allm said to me at different times durning throughout the week it’s wal-marts loss we would hire you in a heart beat, as a matter of fct one mgr. that left our store has offered me work at their store 3 days after I left my store, amazing how things work out and how seriously these simple minded,( these so called ) HR staff and store mgrs.are still there well my dear lets call her “R” and darling miss happy (this person never ever smiles we’ll call her “L” and the store mgr.. we”ll call him”K” honestly you are two faced and I don’t know how (A) you can seriously raise your children properly and (B) HOW DO YOU ALL SLEEP AT NIGHT, KARMA IS COMING ,and when it does I’ll be there for you or should I say clapping for you as someone has caught a brain and sniffed you blood suckers out after all your only there for the $$$ and not the Walton family see ya around you bunch of losers like many have said it’s YOUR LOSS sorry I held such a huge threat over you all, and to the store mgr. maybe you should read before you sign the next pink slip actually allow your own brain to process things for themselves and really make a mature, adult decision all on your own you can do it, yes you can.The next time you all three of you use the cheer “FIRED UP AND READY TO GO” it will be you three leaving, enjoy the free gravy train while it last LOSERS! now I feel real good, because I like who I’am and am quite confident on where I’m going in life and I do sleep very well at night and have raised my children to be “What oh ya use people with dignity and respect” another term these three stooges don’t know the meaning of! M&M

Lying Employees and Bad Customer Service at Walmart Canada

I am writing this because I am very upset regarding one of the managers in the wal-mart located at Agincourt, 3850 Sheppard Ave. East, . The incident happened yesterday. I don’t remember the managers name but she was the manger of the cosmatic department . I went to buy some clearances chirstmas items off the shelf that had a Yellow big 75% sign off the regular price item, so i found it a good deal. I filled up my cart with whatever items that was on the shelf i like , 2 other people came and asked is this really 75% off, i said well if the sign says so than i think so. i waited in line for about 40 min to pay for my items which by the way is not normal to have like 5 people in front of me and about 8 behind me,, there was 1 express line casher and the one i was waiting at . Anyways my turn came up and the casher told me these items are reg. price. i told him that why is there a big sign that says 75% off these items. He said my manger told me these items are not 75%. I insisted that there was a sign because i saw it with my own EYES. so he calls the manager i’m complaining about ,he talks to her for about 8 min and than gives me the phone, i told her that there is a sign that says on the whole shelf 75% off she said okay i am going to look at the shelf. i waited for a good 10 min and keep in mind the big line up behind me and its the only one opened. she comes to me and tells me where is the sign . I WALK TOWARDS THE SHELF AND IT WAS REMOVED. i was so upset and i pointed where the sign was. First of all she was very rude to me and giving me the worst attitude you can ever give a customer, second she was basically calling me a liar or she is making me a lunatic, third she made me feel that i was pulling a scam of her so i can get these items for 75% off. i know i was played by the manager and she was making me a liar in front of everyone in front of the main doors, I didn’t appreciate that she made me look stupid in front of other customers. also isn’t the wal-mart logo the big yellow smiley face, why doesn’t the employee learn how to use the smile and put them on their face. In wal-mart the employee treat you horrible because they don’t care if their lose customers. Doesn’t the wal-mart’s website say “Wal-mart is committed to giving Canadians the best shopping experience in the marketplace by delivering everyday low prices, exceptional customer service, top-quality merchandise, and extensive community involvement, philanthropy and corporate social responsibility.” Well i didn’t see any of that service at all.

But just to make something clear i went to a different wal-mart and bought the same items i wanted with the same discount of 75% off reg price. but when i saw them I took a picture of the shelf in case it happened to me again and another manager would removed the sign before i came to show them. Now i learned my lesson to when ever i step into walmart and see a discount shelf to take a picture of the sale item with the phone so they wont say I was lying.

Walmart at Guildford, Surrey, BC

I bought a pack of Duracell AAA batteries from the Guildford Mall, Surrey, BC location on Boxing Day. When I opened the package at home and put some in my child’s toy they didn’t work. I then realized they were covered in battery acid and it was burning my hands and there was white powdery acid all inside the package. Tonight I returned them to the store and I wanted to get a new package so I went to the same area I got them from before. I noticed that every package had battery acid leaking in it! It was a big skid of batteries that was located in front of the washrooms/McDonalds area. They all didn’t expire until 2016 but there was obviously something wrong with them. I grabbed several of them to show a cashier. I asked for the store manager and she told me I would have to go to customer service. I stood in line at customer service (long line of returns) and then was told that they couldn’t deal with it, I would have to go to the photo lab. Another cashier told me she would take care of it and tell the photo lab. I did some more shopping and an hour later I went back and noticed that the same skid of batteries were there and that lots of people were still buying them. I told one lady looking at them to not buy them and she looked at her package and put them back. These batteries need to be removed from the store right away! I was very frustrated that nobody could call a manager for me, and I even tried three times to call the phone number listed under the manager at the front of the store but there was no answer.

Also, I realize that it has been a very busy week for all of the stores, but this Walmart is going way down hill. The escalator is constantly out of service, and the woman’s washroom has 2 stalls out of order (including the wheelchair stall) and is a flilthy mess. The store is very dirty and messy. Everything I wanted in their flyer was out of stock (cat litter, Royal Toilet Paper, etc). I wanted to order a ring that wasn’t available in my size and the jewlery department told me they couldn’t help me because the girl that normally works there is away and they don’t know when she will be back. I will no longer shop at this Walmart after my experiences tonight.

Stupid Question on Walmart Canada Survey

I am an avid shopper at Wal-mart and yesterday I looked at my receipt and saw that they were requesting that you take a survey for a chance to win $1000 in Cdn Wal-Mart Gift Cards. So I jumped at the opportunity to take the survey. As I was nearly finishing the survey they asked me questions about my gender age, and race. The question that threw me by surprise was the first question that asked “Are you of Hispanic or Latino decent?” I was stunned. What kind of question is that? How dare they ask me such a question!I am a proud Hispanic Canadian citizen however I do not feel that any customer should be asked a question like that on race. What purpose would it serve? Will that better their customer service? No I doubt that. So why have it there? I found it completely offensive at that being the first question they ask. Then ask you continue it asks if you care Caucasian or other races. Why would they even think about having such a question? I quickly emailed the head office demanding to know for what reason they needed an answer to just a question as that. Has anyone else taken the survey and questioned why that there?

Discrimination At Bowmanville Walmart

Finally the new walmart opened on June 11/10 in Bowmanville. My husband and I were extremely excited after waiting so long. We planned our evening to check out the new store and make some purchases. We checked out with $131.00 in purchases. Our check out clerk’s name was Lorraine. I presented Lorraine with a Native Status card entitling me to a PST exempt. After paying for the purchases this clerk made a very derogatory remark by advising me after July 1/10 that card would have no use to me. That card happens to be who I am. It represents my heritage and where I come from. I was so upset by the remark that I left behind a blouse I purchased. I called the store not once has the manager called back to apologize. I still do not have my blouse. I called head office 2 times and was told that I need to wait at least 48 hours for an apology. Can you image having to wait 2 days for a manager to pick up the phone to apologize. I am so disappointed with the way Walmart has ignored my complaint and that a company discriminates against other cultures and heritages in such a multicultural province. I work hard for my money and I’m a tax payer.

Walmart Canada Tire Department in Newmarket ON; Flat Out Discrimination

You’ll never believe the treatment I received at the tire department in Newmarket Walmart. I was there to have my summer tires put on, and had asked about the slow leak I had on my winter tires (which, ehm, Newmarket Walmart put on).
Instead of explaining the oxidation and lack of seal around the rim to me, he looked at my boyfriend and said “You understand, right?” When I asked “Why would HE understand?”, Tom at Walmart said “It’s a guy thing”. Wow, we’ll see how much its a ‘guy thing’ when I have your head for such an ignorant comment. I will NEVER shop there or any Walmart again.

Walmart Canada Misrepresenting Advertised Pricesâ€

Haagen Dasz ice cream (3 bar) was advertised in the Walmart flyer as $3.97. I was not suspecting them to gouge me for $6.97. As I was leaving I saw the bill went back to the cashier/ customer service. It took them 45 minutes … by taking out every damn excuse the picture was there the SKU was not there etc. In the end the assistant mgr says the Walmart and Walmart supercenter have different flyers. Any idiot can read the name of the store is WALMART. Stopping stealing from the very customers that support you. !!!!!!.

I will not shop at the WALMART Markville location.

BE warned of the robbers.

Walmart Canada Oil Change: Forgot to put oil and engine blew up

I have been going to walmart for an oil change and the last time I did get the oil change they forgot to put my oil in it …so my engine blew up and it cost me over $2600 for a simple oil change … since then I never did go back to get an oil change … I called headoffice and they didnt care they gave me the insurance company and they told me to see them in court… never would I recommend going to get an oil change from walmart

Walmart London Coupons

This morning I was in WalMart at WhiteOaks Mall London.  I had coupons for a few items, mainly Kelloggs Cocoa Straws.  They are on for $1 each, and my coupons are for $2.  The lady rudely told me that she can only give me the $1 off, as it’s illegal to give more money than the product value.  She said it’s a government law that coupons cannot exceed the price.  I was fine with that, but I had a few more coupons and she just kept giving me attitude about it all.  I felt like I was doing something wrong by using coupons.

When I got home, I called the store manager and complained about her.  At least he was helpful and polite.

Walmart Canada: Seven F*cking cents?, are you F*cking kidding me?

I was at Walmart in Newmarket, ON and I had something come up the wrong price. It was only off by about a dime, but SCOP says if it scans higher than any advertised price so i wanted it for free. She said “Seven F*#king cents?, are you F&cking kidding me” She then went to check the price and said that one bin said 1.50 and the other said 1.57 (which is what it came up for) and said that she wasnt going to give it to me and was laughing in my face. I hate this woman. She is always rude to me everytime i got there and the fact that she is a Customer Service MANAGER is insane. She puts shame on Walmart and I am disgusted at the company due to the fact that they hired someone like this. I will NEVER return to that store AGAIN!

PS. I went back to see if she was right about the two different bins beside each other and she was lying, they were both marked as 1.50, and it wasnt a mark down bin, it was that price.
