L’Oreal Hair Expertise Total Repair 5 (detangling care)

I got a great deal on this product with RCSS sale and coupon.

Beware of using this product on Tile or linoleum floors. The floor becomes VERY slippery with the residue that ends up on the floor.

I went flying (not hurt or anything)and called the company.

Lesson learned. Only use the leave in conditioner on a carpeted floor.

If you spill cooking oil on your floor it will be slippery too……

Your “rant” made me laugh so hard. Seriously, I cannot believe you called the company over this. RIDICULOUS

Wasn’t a rant. Just a warning. I don’t want anyone getting hurt that doesn’t normally use these kind of products like myself. You don’t notice the mist on the floor like you would cooking oil.

Also I didn’t call and complain or ask for money back. Just asking if this was normal.

Damn floor is still slippery after washing a couple of times. Even the dogs stay off it. lol
Happy to keep you amused. ;) cheers

It’s that silicone stuff they use. And it’s pretty bad for the environment too.
Some people who have older relatives or children in the house might want to be aware of this.

this is good to know. Who does their hair in carpeted areas?! My bathroom is NOT carpeted only a little bathmat so if it is sprayed/spilled, it will go behind you.

Christine in Edmonton, you don’t have to use very much product at all! I sprayed my daughter’s hair yesterday - 3 squirts that’s it. and my husband took a tumble in the exact spot, this morning. I’d just like to know how to clean it up. We’ve had this problem in the past and I never got the slippery spot out of the floor. Fortunately for us, this was just before we moved so I don’t know how the new people got it out, but I hope no one got hurt.

    Any solutions anyone?

Try cleaning the floor with a mixture of vinegar and water…vinegar cuts through grease - great on mirrors and windows doesn’t streak…
