My husband and I love to eat out. We love the idea of spending our hard earned money on a good meal. This day was a special day and I must say I had a wonderful experience. The server Zena, was wonderful. She was super polite and everything you want a server to be. The food we ordered was delicious and the restauant was quite. The owner of the place hand delivered our food.
With the lack of customer service these days I wanted to share a good note.

I haven’t dined there in ages, but last time I did, I do remember the waiter was pleasant and attentive.

Glad to hear a positive review for a change. I have family in KW and we occasionally eat at the Swiss Chalet on Weber… they’ve always been courteous and offer a sit-down meal for a reasonable price.

I have seen the instant packet version of Swiss Chalet sauce at Sobey’s - with the gravy/sauce mix packets… anyone tried this?

I love Swiss Chalet, yum yum give me a half chicken some fries and that OH SO GOOD CHALET SAUCE… maybe start off with a little soup

@ Just Saying I’ve tried the gravy sauce mix packet you speak of and it is not bad but definately not the same as the real thing.

They have started their Xmas special again . My only cpmplaint is that the chiken pieces are getting very small. This is especially noticable after just returning from the US.

Since moving to Orillia I have frequented the Memorial Street Location. I do not have anything but great regard for the staff. BUT the slogan where is the Beef would not be lost on Swiss Chalet franchises. The portions have become a joke…..I have bigger Robins in the backyard. I have contemplated getting Bumper Stickers which would read “Swiss Chalet WHERE IS THE CHICKEN.. At present I will source a new location to buy chicken from, and it will NOT be
a Swiss Chalet. JOIN THE MOVEMENT “WHERE IS THE CHICKEN” BOYCOTT SWISS CHALET UNTIL THEY BRING BACK THE VALUE FOR YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY…….
