I have been to Walmart Auto in Kingston for my last two oil changes and their “service” was the same for both. The staff are abrupt, they can’t speak in a friendly tone, but can be quite cold and they must be told to make sure they do not smile at a customer because they all deliver poor service equally. I will never go back and I would not recommend them to anyone.

I actually get the exact opposite from the Walmart in Oakville. The staff are very friendly and take plenty of time to go over anything I might need to know about the oil change. For example, last time they pointed out that the previous mechanic (not at Walmart) hadn’t completely sealed the plug and oil was leaking, which explained why my oil light was flashing after only 5,000 km.
I only stopped in a couple of times when I needed a fast oil change but I wouldn’t hesitate to stop there again in future.

write to walmart.ca and tell them of your service. They can’t fix a problem if they don’t know about it.

You should try Crappy Tire’s ..they are even worse
I am glad my mechanic only does it for 20 bucks & he does a good job ..he takes cash ..no receipt & no tax which is cool with me .
You go to crappy tire’s for a $ 30 oil change & they will try to milk you for $ 200 worth of non - existent repairs & will almost force & intimidate you to do them
I guess WM is the lesser of the 2 evils ..LOL

I got excellent service at the walmart here in Calgary just off of Southland Drive. I had a striped bold on my battery and they fixed it in less than 5 minutes and I was on my way. The service guy was polite, helpful and made me very happy that day. If you read this, Thanks again!
