Please report these places to SPC Facebook and ask that these vendors be removed from brochures. What they are doing is using SPC to advertise themselves but are not honouring their promises. What a scam.

I use it all the time and never have a problem! Yes, you have to buy regular priced stuff though that does not already have a promotion attached to it. I use it at Jacob a lot actually, but they’ve been having a lot of sales already for it.

I’ve been using my SPC card with no problems at all. In fact, I used it only a week/ a week and a half ago.

There are a few things to keep in mind though. Some stores don’t honor the card if the item(s) are already on sale or if there is a promotion. Some stores only honor the cards in certain conditions, like buying so and so product (ie. buy a combo and get a drink free, or something. So you cant just expect 10% off your meal). You can get all the dets on the SPC card site. Also, some places will ask for your student ID. If you can’t prove to them your a student, they may not honor the discount.

Just some things to keep in mind. If problems keep occurring, I’d suggest contacting the store itself (talk to the manager) AND SPC directly.

Wow….that’s frustrating! I have an SPC card but haven’t used it yet…now I’m wondering if that’ll happen here in the GTA. I would contact SPC with your experience and see if they’ll do anything for you.

omg thats what happened to me in the past 2 years that i have bought it thats why i stopped buying it. On the book thingy some stores says 10% sale and regular but sometimes i go in the store they say it doesn’t apply to sale items and sometimes they give it to me.
